The shaker part has three options: Open circle, divided circle, and circle with four holes. Choose which you use depending on what you are shaking. The lid fastens securely, with a fold-up section for the
opening you choose. The plastic bottle is translucent so you can see how much is within. Great unbreakable cheese shaker is terrific for traveling outside for picnics and cook-outs.
