    Description

    Offered for your consideration are three beautiful Art Nouveau tiles designed by Margarethe Von Brauchitch and  produced by the Saxony Stove and Wall Tile Factory.   The three tiles are unmarked and each one measures approximately 3 inches by 6 inches.  Two of the tiles were photographed for illustration on page 217 in Ken Forster’s book “Tiles & Styles—Jugendstil & Secession: Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts Design in German and Central European Decorative Tiles, 1895-1935,” 240 pp., copyright 2015.
    Condition: Excellent condition with no apparent crazing.  The tile shown on the bottom does have a small chip to the right side.  Please see photographs for additional details.
