    Description

    This is a previously owned item.
    Carved & painted Robin with glass eyes, carved wings and tail, wire feet, standing on wood base. Pencil signed Robin R M Prouty 1986 on bottom of base. Feet were sodered to create talons, implanted and glued to base. Bird and base do not come apart. Legs are attached to bird. Birds body and wing colors are light and dark gray. Under belly is reddish orange and white towards tail. Beak is yellow. Neck under beak is white with black dots. Eyes are black glass with with around glass. There is speckled paint on base and back of bird and wings (see pictures). Approximate measurements of bid with base is 7-1/2" long x 4-3/8" tall. Approximate measurements of bird are tip of beak to tail 7-1/4" x 3-1/2" tall x 2" across back. Please look at pictures as they show more of the items discription.
