    Description

This is a beautiful antique pressed concrete floor tile made by the Mosaic Tile Co. of San Antonio Texas. It was used at the Bexar County Courthouse in San Antonio Texas at the
    beginning
    of the 1900s.
The tile shows a geometric design that was very popular in the early 1900s.
The back of the tile is stamped Mosaic Tile Co San Antonio Tex.
The Mosaic Tile Co of San Antonio Texas made pressed concrete tiles that were used all over Texas in many churches, government buildings and upscale houses in the early 1900s.
These tiles were installed at the Bexar County Courthouse in the early 1900s and were reclaimed when renovations were done on the building in the 1960s.
The tile measure approximately 8 inches by 8 inches and is about an inch thick.
Very well made and made to last.
The tile would look great on an easel on your desk or table. A great conversation piece.
